I help riders get out of their own way so that the partnership they've been building with their horse has a grounded human presenting it in the show pen.

I grew up in a farming community and spent years working for cutting horse trainers across Alberta and Texas. It was the life I loved. It was also relentless.
You work all day, every day. The pressure is constant. The stakes are high; money, time, and a dream all coming down to two and a half minutes in a pen.
I pushed through the pressure the way most of us do. Until my body stopped cooperating.
The chronic fatigue hit first. Then full body hives that wouldn't go away. I was desperate to keep doing what I loved, so I tried acupuncture. Which led me into doing healing work and discovered that I could see exactly where my stress patterns had started. Not just symptoms to manage, but the specific moment my body learned to hold onto the stress.
That was the turning point where I knew I needed to bring this healing work back to the horse world. To help riders getting ready for the show pen, the amateur, the non pro, and the trainer in the open, release the stress they've been carrying into every ride, every haul, every show. And show up better for their horses.

As a Registered Acupuncturist and Certified SIT Practitioner, I work with riders and horse owners who are running on empty and wondering why the harder they push, the further the results get from their grasp.
I help them pinpoint the exact subconscious origin of their stress patterns and release it. Not just manage it, but clear it from the sub-soma (subconscious body).
The riders I work with tell me they finally understand why they show up the way they do. Why their horse responds differently now. Why the riding that used to feel like a grind finally feels like flow.
I know what it costs to carry all that into your work and your time with horses, and how it affects both you and your horse in the show pen. I also know what it feels like when you don't have to anymore.
Your horse isn't the problem. How much you practiced (or didn't) isn't the problem. And the pressure of the event isn't either. It's your internal world that brings it all together.
I believe the big wins don't come from pushing more and riding harder. They come from a calmer, more grounded rider.
And I believe your horse is a reflection of that.
